The last few days

Penelope and Rosemary's room is really shaping up. I put the nursery rhyme window up, and Penelope especially seems to like it. :)

On the way home from the Eckley's 4th of July party Sunday night, we found a chest of drawers on the side of the road that we totally swiped. :) I thought it was so cool because a) I've been praying for a solution to the "need more drawers/don't have money in the budget for a new chest of drawers right now" dilemna, and b) the chest is blue. I resisted the urge to paint it pink, because I believe God is one day giving us a boy. :) Praise the Lord for serendipitous happenings like needing a chest of drawers and randomly finding one on the side of the road on your way home from a party you hadn't originally planned to attend. He works all things for good!

We planted Howard Dill Giant Pumpkins on Saturday. They are supposed to get really REALLY gi-normous. Should the pumpkins actually sprout up out of the ground, we are going to measure their circumference every day and make a growth chart. Yes I'm a homeschooling mom. Can you tell? :)

Monday was very low-key, which we enjoyed. We did go to the splash pad over by Early Works. We all enjoyed it, but I think Penelope enjoyed it the most. :)
