Being stuffed up in the house for several weeks with the girls watching way too much TV lately, reaching the 36 week mark, and seeing a GORGEOUS Saturday emerging outside, I decided it was time to get out and push my limits a bit yesterday. :) We loaded the girls up in their swimsuits and headed to one of our favorite places in town, Huntsville Botanical Gardens. I love that place. Every time we go, we discover a new area of it to enjoy. Yesterday we discovered a little Gnome Village, nestled in a shady spot in the woods. The girls loved it because there were gnomes and fairies and water sprinklers. I loved it because there was plenty of shade and space to sit down on a toadstool. :)
After that, we grabbed lunch at a little Taqueria that we'd been curious about (El Cazador- it was delicious!), came home for quick naps and baths before getting family pictures made in the park with Uncle Andrew (hopefully I will have some to share soon!), and off to another park for swinging and sliding. Shortly after we got home, some awesome friends brought us enough BBQ and fixins for 3 or 4 meals. We finished the day off with roasting marshmallows around our neighbor's fire pit.
A really fun Saturday but needless to say, I'm completely exhausted today. I'm really glad to almost be to June 1. Within 23 days I will be holding my SON!!! Praise the LORD!!
El Cazador means "the hunter" in English. Could you identify all the dishes on the menu? Sounds like a great day.
