But today we made extra-fun memories. It was Music and Art Day at our house. We studied primary and secondary colors, mixing colors, and the colors of the rainbow. We called it "Rainbow Day". Fun fun.
Allie is learning to read and play music on the piano. She's doing great!
And to top it all off, we made chocolate chip-covered Oreos. Yes you read that right. DELICIOUS.
I think they all enjoyed the day. Now if I could get a cleaning fairy to come through and clean up the mess from all the "fun" while I sleep. . . :)
Fun does not come easy for me, however sometimes I do make it happen. I have to really work myself up to letting the kid do crafts and paint. Oh, especially paint. The mess TOTALLY.STRESSES.ME.OUT!!! In fact looking at your picture stressed me out. I was looking really close to see if there was paint on your table! Ha!! I know, I know it's terrible. BUT true! When Grace gets older I plan on letting her be in charge of crafts. Someone suggested to me just last night that I partner up with someone who does like crafts and then that mom could lead crafts and I could lead something else. Hum, it's a good idea. I just don't know exactly what I would lead in return. Ha ha!! I would REALLY love to get together!! I also have something I would like to talk to you about sometime.
